I have it at home but havent gotten around to build it yet. A guy I know has built it though and it is displayed in a local hobby shop. The hull top and turret top are not glued in place, so they can be lifted off quite easily to show the inside. This is one way to show it.
Another is a dio where every hatch and lid is opened for maintenance ......
Ive seen quite a few dios where tanks have been blown up and burnt out. With all the interior parts in this kit you could do that ...... just take away the parts that would burn ans shells, etc. It would be a good idea to get a tiger reference picture for this though.
Just some ideas that might help.
I went through the box recently ....... cant wait to start on this. Looks sooooo cooool! I believe its quite a good build and accurate for an early version. Something about the shell storage is wrong. Im sure there is a tweak list somewhere. Try the articles on missing links!8)

Plasticbattle has already answered about how to show the interior details. This is one kit I liked so much that I bought three, all done by different modelers (not even one done by myself). Let me show 2 out of 3 here :

Go to http://www.panzer-modell.de, click on "bauberichte", then "archiv" and scroll down, and you'll find a review. This is the Track-link review of the early version. Then there is also this Missing-Lynx tweak-list.

All seem quite positive... IIRC a recurring theme is to test-fit the transmission and the interior of the engine-compartments very carefully, as the fit is quite tricky...

I do have the kit myself (it looks good), but have not yet build it (and likely for quite some while...).

Good luck,

Harm

Mine (mid w interior) is stalled and in storage having gotten frustrated with the transmission and engine fit as well as the directions for installing the front (vertical) bow plate with the MG and vision port at the hull top.

I posted a thread here asking about that and found a couple of pics and some advice about the fit. The illustration in that step is not as clear as it could be.

Then we moved and it hasn't come out of the box yet.

Also there should be 4 rounds not three in the interior stowage bins, but I didn't muck with that.

I'm NOT going to town on this one, no aftermarket (other than the cavalier generic Zimm set) , no specifically bought references.. just a fun ootb build and when it stopped being fun, I put it away for a while.

Have fun, it's a nice kit.

MLD,

going to town was just what I planned to do actually..... First I am going to finish what I am building right now (except some waiting for a paintjob), and then I have this one lined up (together with a Wespe with interior and a Jagdpanther)...

This will be the first kit with some scratchbuilding...

I bult one several years ago...it is what brought me back to 35th scale armor. I had been building 48th scale aircraft and the occasional 48th scale tank for the previous 15 years until '97. I left my turret and hull top unglued to show off interior. I then turned right around and built the Tamiya mid production using some of the interior turret pieces from the academy as reference/molds to add interior detail to it for a diorama. Great kit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I intend to use the tweaklist...

so that means that ammo-racks, some parts of the suspension, one of the ammo-cases have to be scratchbuilt... which means I have to do more scratchbuilding then I have ever done so far... And I might have to adapt some pieces if I decide to use an asymmetrical tuurret...

Tim, This kit is a Gem The only Issue I have with it is the enine it's way underdaetailed on the lower half of the engine. This is ok if its sitting in the hull and just showing the crew doing routine maintenace. But alas, I'm a pain and am doing an engine pull with a Famo with Bilstein crane, I needed a new engine. There are several out there and I'm sure you can go and find one if needed. STUG
