Hi,
this is the latest on the workbench
kits used:
Legend Achzarit
wheels set from an old merakava kit
and adds-on scratch built parts and components
the model is intended to have all hatches open, therefore, some interior was also done to mimic the bare minimum
"you know; something to meet the eyes"
enjoy

You sure do love Resin my friend. The only issue I have with Legend is the enormous amount of mold bars and the large size that needs to be cut off before you can use the parts.
The company could do better, much better, by removing them before packaging.
May I ask where you got the commanders greenhouse from, I don't see it as part of the picture on the front of the kit box?
Again, I say, first class start to what looks like another amazing build.
I do have the plastic kits, early and late and I may start one in the not too distant future.
Keep the updates coming Sir.
Keith

Great work sir , I have a question please , I see all your grab handles and tie down lopes have colored attachment bits (most are red blue and a green) are these cut from plastic stock or are they something else and how were the metal parts formed ? will be watching this with great interest

Keith, the commander's cupola was scratch built from cardboard all while basing on the drawing of the cupola
John, the colored tie down are copper wires and rubber housing of cable cut in halves

I am off on vacation on Sunday for a week but I will still be looking in and following along.
My comment here is the same as it was for the Puma, where are the episcopes?
They are not shown to be part of the kit yet the vehicle is fully armed. That to me is a shortcoming for the price commanded.
Another nice build however.
Keith

hello gilbertsakr,
I like what you've done here, gives me inspiration for my kit. I'm thinking of using Legend's Achzarit update on it; or the RCWS at least. And adding Liveresin ammo feed chutes to those.
too bad that Eduard muffed the rear cargo net with 8x6 strapping, rather than 9x5. Maybe someone else will issue a correct one?
keep up the good work.
Kylie

hi,
does anyone have a few IDF related parts that they don't want to use, I'd be interested in having them for this model and for possible future builds
cheers

Hi, no need for the close ups, thanks; you're right. On closer inspection, the cargo net is 9x8. How did Eduard, & me, get it so rong?
What parts are you looking for? RCWS? I'm about to replace a couple with Legend's kit as they're good value and a good start at improving the kit options. PM me.
K.
