Dragon is releasing two new kits based on their Tiger Mid with Zimmerit. These kits are 6624 and 6866. Dragonusaonline is now selling 6624.

6866 includes a bonus smaller kit within itself, the Borgward Ausf. A (which was originally available as kit 6101).

You would think that 6866 would be more expensive than 6624 because it includes the Borgward, but they will both sell for $80 on dragonusaonline.

As far as I can tell, the only difference between these two kits other than the inclusion of the Borgward is the type of markings given to you.

So unless you are really wanting to build a Tiger from the S.Pz.Abt. 506, just wait for 6866 to release because it gives you a bonus for the same amount of money!

Actually, they're not quite the same.
6866 has a new rear hull wall; it carries both the travel lock and the welded bumps for the Feifels. A small difference but it's a variant of Tiger that we haven't seen before. This wall will be used also in the re-release of 6850.
