Hello My name is Dan Silvestru I am from Romania and I have Dan Models ( ex Miniatur Models ) company. This Year we was restart produce some 1/35 scale resin kit.
Together with my friend Giersh Alexandru we was start the 1/35 scale Dodge turreted armored car .
We need some information :
1- The crew is 3 persons ?
2 - Inside arrangement - where is located the 3th person ( the radio operator I think )
3 - What radio have this vehicle ( photos and dimensions if is possible )
4 - Inside front panel ( driver ) photos
5 - The machine gun chair

I know Finescale done an article back in the 90's on this and even scratchbuilding your own.Let me see what I can dig up.

Meanwhile, I was able to find this picture...It carries the name "Bambi".

The production of this conversion was cancelled .
I will made full kit including base and my version will be short roof not long roof as in old conversion.
Was 3-4 turreted version ( different armor body and turret location ) and one version as troupe transport - all on Dodge base !!

The truck in the first and fourth pictures is the same truck. It has civilian pattern wheels common to the post WWII Dodge Power Wagons, and the M37. Were these fitted for display in the museum?

I think Bambi is a different truck. The fenders are different and it looks like the turret front plate over laps the sides.

Also, the truck in the museum has a nose heavy profile, like it was not fitted to the chassis as neatly as the other trucks. Was it a wreck rebuilt for display?

Some more details add on the Dodge master this week.
Also the extra fuel tank from Jeep was add too.
I hope the master will be finish in two weeks and start produce in resin ! We will start the reservation soon.
