Want to get some pumice powder for using for anti-slip on 1/35 afv's, does anyone know what grade I should be looking for, fine, very fine, fff fine????

Just FYI you can also use Chincella sand ! if you have A Good Pet Store you should be able to source it ! Its very fine and easy to use !

I believe Pumice powder would be way too fine to depict a no slip surface in 1:35 it's not unlike talcum powder in consistency. A fine sand as suggested would probably work much better.

If the pet store doesn't have chinchilla sand, you might be able to get the type used in salt water aquariums.

There is a company named vms that makes a product for anti slip.it was advertised here back in December

I think also True earth does a product for anti slip,i never try but i read also the carbon inside Brita water filters can work

Although, I'm not much into using food for modelling I had very good results in using flour for replicating anti slip on one of my models.
Put on a coat of water-thinned white glue, sprinkle the flour on top, let dry, paint... Done!
