Can I use the CIP panels that come with the latest Tamiya Modern Accessories set on any modern American vehicle that normally has them? They seem a bit small to me....

There are various sizes for the CIP panel. And you can make them easily with plastic cards.

I'm down at Ft Hood right now and see them all the time on 1 Cav vehicles. They seem to have something new. It's not really a box with slates but just a piece of sheet metal bent like upside down stairs without the box frame. Does that make sense?

That's the deal. I've seen them hanging off vehicles without the mounting fram.
