It is interesting to see various layers of paint on the M60A3 showing up. The first photo in this last series shows that before the vehicle received its current NATO 3-color scheme it was painted in most common version of MERDC scheme: field drab+green+sand+black. Underneath this camo there was something that looks like desert version of MERDC, as there is area of sand paint with a black pattern on it visible. And even deeper underneath the sand color, some dark green colors shows - probably old good olive drab! This tank was a real chameleon :-)

Where is that M-60 located? The setting looks somewhat familiar.

It's not the one I was thinking of. The last time I was in my grandma's hometown they had a static M-60 display next to the VFW, next to a picnic area and just down the road from the grain elevator, almost the exact same arrangement as the one in your pictures. Although, I think the one they had was an earlier model, but it's probably been 10 years since I've been there so my memory's a bit faded.
I figured the probability that you'd have pictures from the Loyal, WI VFW were pretty slim, but I thought I'd check.
