I see your point. Have to have the right clear coat so as not to absorb the weathering product,but at the end a flat or matte finish is applied if necessary.I can see the difference between the two Alclad products, that is all I am trying to convey without insulting anyone. thanks.

Regarding Winsor & Newton's Acrylic Matt varnish, I do everything with a brush (never owned an airbrush!). I really have no idea how best to dilute the varnish for spraying.
