I am beginning M1025 based dumvee at the service of Polish SF GROM. Unfortunately I have only two photographs of the vehicle and I am not reliable, whether the same vehicle.

Another particular humvee.
Why the back of the seat has been removed ? The seat is not used by the crew ?
It seems there are planks of wood instead.

Can't speak for this particular subject but on deployed US Army OH-58 helos, the pilots often removed the back cushions and sat against the metal bulkhead. The reason was that since they had armor plates on their backs, the cushions didn't provide any comfort and pulling them out gave the crew a bit more room.
Maybe that was the reason in this case?

Sounds plausible John.
Love all the little details your adding. And any Humvee bristling with guns looks good!
