I was thinking that there are a few build/paint/weather guides out on the market. Some are OK and others are done quite well. Which one or ones would you recommend?
I have the new construction book by Mig and thought it would rank with one of the better ones I have read.

I like the Osprey guides for military vehicles-- they cover several interesting Armor subjects, and a few of the new ones are spiral bound in notebook form, which makes them easy to use right on the workbench. Accion Press' "The Greatest Guide" is also good, but I don't know if they do Armor Subjects. One I've treasured for years is the "The Master Scratch Builders" and "Scratch Built" from Schiffer, but these are only for aircraft-- although there are techniques useful for Armor modelers throughout. If I run across build and weathering articles in Fine Scale Modeler, AFV modeler, or other magazines that I think are good, I cut them out and place them in document protectors and put them into three ring binders for further use-- that keeps me from digging through back issues.
