Thought id show some photos of my Dragon Tunisian Tiger.
I painted it using Mig ammo paints but I will not be using them again far too much hard work trying to get the paints down.I base coated it in Migs RAL 8000 but I did not like it so changed the colour to RAL 7028 along with highlights of Dunkelgelb light base and RAL 7008 camo.
The canvas cover on the track cables was made from a cigarette paper and I made the muzzle brake cover from tin foil.
Figures are Miniart German armored car crew and had to change a few arms to get the right look.
Finished off with mig filters/mig washes and oil paints.

Great colouring. It's interesting to see this one built up; did you have any problems?

The only problems with the kit was the over sized tow cables, and I would of liked a set of magic tracks instead of the DS ones .
Oh and I find the decals from Dragon of late are a little too thick took me ages trying to make them look right.apart from that great kit.
Thanks David

Thank you!

They ask you to modify a part of the turret bin. Was that a problem?

Yes there was a correction note asking to cut a piece off part v13 it was molded at the center of the rear bin wall and if you never cut it off the two parts would not fit together.

Excellent! I love the painting & weatheringwethering (not overdone)!
It could be the light but I believe the coaxial MG barrel is still painted in the base coat?

For the very sharp eyed modelers see if you can spot something I have installed but should not be there,Well they should but not the same version that was attached to the original Tiger.

See who gets it first.

I'm guessing helmets. The one I had, had brown leather straps and inside leathers. It was also heavy, and the straps would be stretched. It was a late war type without the crimped rim. I got stupid and sold my gear to a "friend" who still owes me a few hundred dollars.

Yes I only had helmets from a Masterbox ww1 figures so they are M1916 helmets,I was not going to spend money on a later 1940 or 1942 version so I just made do.

Well done.
