G'day everyone, i remember there have been a few posts on this subject but i cant find them, so i will just start a new one.
How would i go about making those rolled up net things they have on the back of tanks, specifically i want to wack one on the back on my bulldog for my Tet offensive dio, i dont know if they are camo nets or what, i dont know what they are but they still look good, i think it was guaze bandage and glue or something, but if someone could refresh my memory, that'd be great, oh and also tell me what they actually are, cheers

I use medical gauze to do them. First of all I dye it in a mixture of "second hand" tea leaves (having an English wife tea consumption is at an unbelievable level). Once dyed and dried I dip it into a solution of 50% water and 50% white glue then I position it on the vehicle in the position I want, I shape it and I let it dry. Once dry I finish it with a matt coat and then a drybrush. Usualy to avoid spoiling the paintjob on my vehichle between it and the camo net I lay some kitchen plastic film.
