I'm just getting started on this kit, but I have a question. There is an insert that tells you to remove one of the two small brackets on the left side turret roof. Yet the painting illustrations all show the bracket in place. I couldn't find a definite picture of the roof so the question is.. Is the bracket actually there on the Mk11 or not?

From the Prime Portal photo below, the inserted instruction is correct. Need to remove the bracket to the front and keep the one to the back. You can see that clearly in the photo. May be the painting guide used the wrong template.

Yes the bracket is an attachment point for the left turret basket, so line that up and it's kinda obvious which one you have to keep.

I assume the Mk 10 uses the 'other bracket', but I haven't built my 10 yet so I'm not absolutely sure...

Hi Nick,

You are correct, Mk 10 uses the bracket to front instead. Again Prime Portal has a photo showing it.
