I have the M1919 barrels for the M4A1 and am wondering what is the best way to fit them to the hull and coax mount. Don't have a Dremel to cut the barrels, which are considerably longer than the factory plastic ones. Just looking for suggestions from those who may have done this.
Thanks,
Bob

Drill out the mounts to allow the barrels to fit deeper? You should be able to do that with a pin vice or even a drill bit in the jaws of a hobby knife with chuck jaws (like what I would still call an X-Acto)

I plan on doing that with the hull MG--just need to drill a 1.5mm clearance hole for the 1.48mm RB shroud, but the coax will be a different story. The problem is the square hole in the kit MG receiver (part C45) that allows it to elevate with the main gun. Not sure what to do about it yet. Maybe measure the distance from the RB barrel center to the main gun mount, then fabricate something to attach it to the trunnion at the proper distance. Still working on it...
I tried to attach a photo from my computer, but don't know how to do it.
