I have several photos showing supplies being transferred from Dakotas onto cargo trucks during the Berlin Airlift. Some of the vehicles appear to be Autocar tractors with very large trailers. I note that Airfix have released a set 'USAAF Bomber Re-supply Vehicles', which includes an Autocar fuel tanker. Does anyone know of a suitable trailer in either 1/72 or 1/76 scale that would fit the tractor and be appropriate for a Berlin Airlift diorama?

The PST Trailer is maybe a "semi-trailer skate and platform 5 t 2 wheels" (model 516)like this one :

or maybe better a "lighter" 3,5 t 2 wheel Model T118 Semi-trailer
In fact, the 5 t trailer does have two cut corners at its front, but you can find the spare wheel at this place...

In fact, I've never found a picture of a real "PST Trailer"...

you can put a 5 t semi-trailer behind the Autocar truck, but is for me like to use a gun to kill a mosquito
in an other hand, i'm affraid the PST trailer is (with the other PST trailer) the only one on the market...
I don't think it's very hard to scratch one...

If you look at the first photo, there are a number of vertical strips supporting the stake body. There are 4 pairs of strips in the middle of the trailer in the photo. This corresponds to the 10 ton trailer Pascal found.

And as he said, it doesn't look too difficult to scratchbuild the trailer body and maybe extend the frame. You need to do something to fold up the dolly wheels anyway if you have it attached to the tractor.

Or just buy two trailer kits and combine them thru kitbashing to produce a longer trailer.
