I have used Model Master Desert Sand USMC/USArmy paint for my Abrams builds before..but maybe its me eyesight failing or is it too "yellow"?? All the pics I have seen of OIF Abrams seem much "whiter" and matches closer to Model Master Sand. Can anyone tell me which I should use..I only have access to Model Master paints...thanks guys!!!

I use Model Master Sand for all my modern US sand vehicles. Once weathered, and dirtied up a bit, it is dead on for modern desert color.

Or..... I use that USMC/ARMY color and mix it with some white to match the color in the photo I'm working with.

Careful guys the "whiteness" you're seeing may the the reflection of the brutal Iraqi sun on the vehicle. Color film can wash the color if highly reflected. The MM Marine/Army Desert color is correct.
You could add white to represent a faded paint finish, but not too much.

II had the same problem too concerning the OIF colors,,,,,still undecided between MM sand and MM Army USMC color. MM Sand is too white and MM ARMY marines is too dark once a wash applied
