as attached, almost done with this bad boy, from Airborne Miniatures. Figure was a pleasure to do, albeit some gaps that needed filling: around the arms, and at the back of the torso.

The trousers are in multicam, well, my attempt at multicam; I've documented the painting process, and will put together a little sbs for Armorama.

Any tips gratefully received before I wrap it up, and he goes on the shelf with the Assault Gunner.

I can say, I am really looking forward to receiving Legend's SEAL, too.

Looking good, real good. I like this figure very much... the pose, the equipment... everything. I think you did it justice.

Looking forward to Multicam SBS!

Looks really good, Kylie! Your Multicam depiction is excellent and I like how you used different tones on the shoes.

You placed the holster on the web belt? Wow, I didn't think of that and if I had done so, I could have added another grenade pouch to the MOLLE vest = five 20-round mags and two grenades = really good firepower. I added my holster above the SCAR-H magazine pouches.

Yaroslav, yes, this 1/16 resin figure comes with the pouches, helmet, SCAR-H, and radio included. Everything you see in the photo is included in the kit.

so, a bit more work, namely a wash of filters, and a dull coat over that. I'm happy that the dull coat muted the colors so the contrast is less stark, more like material. But, frosted in places... not so good. Oh well, will just have to do another figure. Legend's SEAL anyone?

Am finishing the article on how I painted this, and it should be up here soon.

Any feedback gratefully received.

thanks guys

Looks great. I like the subtle transitions between the greens and browns. These are the colors that flow into one another and some of the borders are blurred. Great job on replicating these.

Looking forward to the article.

Mario

EDIT: My only comment would be a peculiar place to fix the holster. I haven't seen the secondary firearm strapped to the front of the belt... wouldn't it be in the way of the body armor and pouches when crouching?

latest work done to finish this guy, based on Nick Lavery, as seen on the web. Complete respect to the man, just need to do the Spartan helmet on the back, and add some wires. Not sure if this has been done before, but it was a challenge to do. Any feedback gratefully received.

thanks, Mario; I intend on putting an American flag in his left hand, and mounting it on a simple wooden base.

ciao
