hello Gents,
here is my finished scene called "Valhalla" painted in acrylics only from various brands.
the Axe, arrows and Shield are scratchbuilt items (the shield is sculpted with milliput)
Scenery was done first with play doh air drying clay, Cork for the rocks and Silflor bison grass. soil was painted using Citadel products.
I'm more than open to any constructive criticism in order to upgrade my painting skills
also : for the first time i got this slightly shining with the paints ... finding this strange as acrylics generally dry dead flat ?

actually it appears that this set was produced by Verlinden back in time. As i didn't had the original box I was sure it was from Warriors because of the resin color...

You have done an EXCELLENT paint job on these figures.
I would put just a "small" amount of blood at the arrow
impact.
Well done!
Cheers,
Joe

Agreed. Fantastic job on sculpting and painting. In addition to blood on the wounds some blood around the mouth would be called for given the nature of the wound.
The metallic finish on the mail and helmet are perfect.
