Is the 8-inch howitzer Mk.VI WW1 or WW2 vintage? I know the guns were introduced then, but they were repurposed in 1939.

From Wikipedia:
"By the start of World War II some Mk 8 were still in use and were used in France in May to June 1940. After the Fall of France, remaining guns were used for training only. The advent of the BL 7.2-inch howitzer meant that remaining 8-inch barrels were relined to 7.2 inch. With no guns left, they were declared obsolete by July 1943"
If I am allowed to guess a bit I would bet 50 cents on WW I.
I think it would be easier to find a WW I version than a WW II since the few that were still in service were changed to 7.2 inch.
The WW I wheels are probably also easier to produce in kit form. Slightly simpler kit and more users/theatres if they go for WW I.
But that is ONLY a guess ....
