Hello to all.
I got an idea of making a vehicle of modern (2017) U.S. military advisers in Syria and/or Iraq. Unfortunately, this field is not as widely covered by the Russian media as the Russian military presence in Syria. So I have these questions.
1. Which branch of the U.S. military do these advisors represent? (It’s just a general question, I never mean to break any opsec restrictions.)
2. Which vehicles are currently in use? Which modifications?
I can suppose that such model could be a Meng Cougar 6x6 with Live Resin MCTAGS or similar? Maybe other MRAPs?

Can't help you with question #1, but here's an option for question #2 ![](../../modules/SquawkBox/images/smilies/wink.gif)

The pictured Toyota pick-up is more recent than the Meng one though....

Thanks! Great! I guess Meng will do, they can probably use all Toyota versions. Still, MRAP pics, if any, will be greatly appreciated, too...

You're welcome
Here's another pick-up model used there :

IMHO, a MRAP would be too noticeable. I guess these guys prefer to keep a low profile...

It just stroke me that these pickups are so unbelievably dirty to open tons of new weathering possibilities...

I'd say you have some smeared mud there.

Reasonable. Also, possibly absence of MRAPs contributes to easier communication with civilians etc.

Yes, and SAA does that, too. Check this out:
