Gino, or other HEMTT experts, when looking for reference pics for painting my Italeri LHS I found this picture. It's a four axle HEMTT LHS but it has a material handling crane like the M977 at mid frame in front of the LHS gear. I've read there was a prototype 8x8 alternative proposal to the M1075 PLS, is that what this is? Or maybe a version I didn't know about?
Looked but haven't found any other pics, but this might have been a mod I'd try with a crane off the other Italeri kit...

Yup, it was mentioned here a couple days ago. I also found a couple more pics of the same vehicle and another. It seems that it is a test vehicle as part of a new bridging system that a company is attempting to sell to the US Military or other Govt. agencies (video bills it to bridge washed out civilian roads). It does not appear to be an operational vehicle.
Here another pic of it.
And a video.

Just to clarify, in the US Army, the 8x8 (4 axle - M1120) version is the LHS and the 10x10 (5 axle - M1074 w/MHC or M1075 w/o MHC) version is a PLS.

I've seen this vehicle first hand on display and have photos of it somewhere (I live in Alberta, Canada). The pictures that are posted here were taken in southern-western Alberta, somewhere in the foothills outside of Calgary.
And I don't think it's just being marketed to gov. agencies. There is a HUGE market for portable bridges in Northern Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia for oil field and forestry access.

I hadn't thought of that, but it makes lots of sense. Maybe we will see some civilian HEMTT LHS models in bright colors hauling bridge sections and supplies for loggers and oil companies.
