Is this antenna base used on modern armor,namely the Abrams.And how many would be on the Abrams

The standard is two antennas, one for each SINCGARS radio installed. There can also be a short, fat antenna on the older base on the right rear corner of the turret on a separate pole-like mount. This is an EPLRS antenna. You can see them below.
