Excluding figure sets, what is out there for BEF vehicles, artillery, etc, that is appropriate for Battle of France period? I've come up with these:
Bronco A13 Cruiser Tank Mk.III/IV
Miniart Dingo Mk.I
Tamiya Matilda Mk.I/II
Vulcan Mk.VIB Light Tank
Riich Universal Carrier Mk.I (??)
What else am I missing?
Thanks

If memory serves, Rommel's 7th Panzer division used some 88's to repel a counte4rattack by British armor. There are several trucks & motorcycles that could also be used.

Thanks but I'm looking for British rather than French.

Thanks, forgot that kit was in 1/35. I see the tamiya kit offers later war markings but does mention Dunkirk in the intro.
Forgot they make a BSA M20 too.

Excellent, thanks! I'll have to get that conversion, thought I'd be stuck with the antique Matilda boxing.

As well as the Vulcan Vickers light tank Mk.VIb there is the Mk.VIc with the Besa 15mm gun. Even has decals for France 1940.
If you are up to a bit of modification work then the AFV Club Early Matador could be used. Needs different front fenders.
Bad news on the Riich Universal carrier. Have been told that while there were several carrier types in France; Scout, Bren, Cavalry, the Universal was a bit late to see service there. You can however convert the Riich kit to these earlier versions.
There are some announced but not yet released kits that will fit the bill.
Thunder Models and IBG have announced several versions of the Scammel. The recovery version and the artillery tractor were used in France 1940. The tank transporter will probably have the later trailer so that wouldn't work though maybe we'll get lucky and one of the kits will have an early trailer.
There is also an A9 or A10 Cruiser coming from, I think Classy Hobby.
Seem to recall seeing a kit of a Mk.1 Quad that might be of the type used in France 1940.
Hopefully we'll see more of the early British WWII stuff. I'm really hanging out for a (IM plastic) Mk.1 Matilda.
Just remembered, Resicast do a Morris armoured car. Mastered by the redoubtable George Moore. Resicast do some of the BEF artillery too.
Cheers.

There was also a Canadian contingent in France very briefly, and they left behind many CMP trucks.
Very detailed info, ie units and truck types with their WD numbers here:

Vulcan do a lovely 2 Pdr but the crew set they also offer is in Shorts. The wheels are also wrong for France 39-40 but you can use Tamiya Tilly wheels which are close to period ones. DML do a Vickers Crew in Greatcoats and early war uniforms. Heller do a Hotchkiss 25mm AT which was also used by the British in France.

Ever thought of tackling BEF subjects in 1/76-scale?
I can certainly recommend Peter Bailey's resin pieces (vehicles, artillery, figures and accessories) under the 'Bull Models' label.
I have built several of these, and am really impressed with the result! For further details, just send him an e-mail:
