Since I'm gonne be on holiday next week, I haven't got time to post them all, but I want to leave you with this little teaser on what to expect after I get back.

I figured that was just a sample... were you guys there all day? Looks like some of the outside photos were shot in the late afternoon.

Chris,

we had a special look at the groundwork in the area, but I'm sorry that I must tell you that all original groundwork has been replaced by modern stuff. Concrete, new pavement and new stones....nothing to be compared with the original.

The original roads where so badly damaged, that they al had to replace them.

I'm sorry that I have no better news on this matter....there is one little spot of light on the end of the tunnel though.... I laid my hands on an original video document showing the Oosterbeek town in 1945, right after the war.... I haven't had the time to watch it, but I will right after my vacation. When the video shows groundwork, I'll get it out here.

Thats okay.. its alway hard to find old things of that nature.. they tend to have been replaced
because of time passing..The other photos are great and it's good timing to have them
posted here.. Some extra motivation to drive on to the finish of the campaign :-)

is there any more of that gun one of the maniquins is sitting on?

im pretty sure its a 6-pdr, and mine would benefit from some extra detail.

cheers

Good man danny. At last a picture of the bridge that will make it easier to model a scene on it! If there is a possibility of any bridge scenes on the video, I would love to see how it looked back then. Hope you all had a great amd memorable time. Best of luck
