OK, I give up. I have typed till my fingers are numb trying to find WW II type treaded tires for my M-59 Long Tom. AFV made a nice kit but the tires, not so much. Masters Prod. made replacement tires, no where to be found. So, anyone got an idea? Now that I know the tread is wrong its driving me batty!!!!

U-Models make a set of wheels article number UM 202, as well as Hussar productions from Canada (3 types of wheels).

Found some in stock here (pls delete link if it is against forum rules):

I may be wrong, but aren't the White 666 wheels of the same size?
You may want to give a try to one of three sets by Hussar:

Hussar actually makes 3 different types of wheels for the Long Tom. Since you are in the US, you would be better off ordering direct from the source of Hussar - Air Connection - rather then overseas to the Dersockel Shop. (airconnection.on.ca)

The U-Models wheels are actually the Masters Production set - U-Model picked up much of the Master line. This is even noted on some of the Masters item descriptions on the Scale Link page that was provided by Frenchy. U-Model can be purchased from BNA Modelworld in Australia and KMT (Kits Maquette) in France (http://1-35models.com), although it looks like KMT is out-of-stock.

Check out Scale-Link in the UK.

http://www.scalelink.co.uk/

They offer two different sets/patterns of tires for the AFV 155mm and 8 inch guns; one set is just the tires, the other set includes the early style M1 Limber. These are still listed as "in stock" in their online catalog.

#VV35019 or #UM260 with M1 Limber

#VV35042 without Limber

I have ordered a number of wheel sets and kits from them. They are good people!

Regards

I ordered the wheels with limber set just last week and it arrived yesterday. It looks pretty good.

looks like Scale Link in the UK lists still has some Masters Productions. Their catalog is flaky, but they have some interesting lines others do not seem to have. Got good service when I purchases from them years ago.
