I'm looking for the best kit to use for some late war Sherman. I need the lower hull to be accurate, (don't care about the turret/upper hull) What would be the best BUDGET FRIENDLY kit as I'd need several. I have a Idea for a post war dio where surplus hulls were being converted to other uses.
TIA guys!

Can't go wrong with the Tamiya Isherman to start out with...late series Sherman that will take regular American/British turrets and leaves you a spare Israeli turret/gun to boot that conforms to your quest for conversions.

Budget friendly? Best? Okay here's the cheap Sherman skinny: Academy and Italeri. The M4A3 Calliope can be had for under $30. The Italeri M4A1 is about $31.00.
The Tamiya M4A1 (M1 Super Sherman) is another alternative, but the hull bottom is for a M4A3 not an M4A1 but I'm not sure if that is an issue. However, the Tamiya M4A3 75mm is okay though forget the suspension and the Academy kit is much better detailed.
Don't listen to the Academy bashers. For what you want it's probably the best deal.

The new Tamiya M51 Sherman kit is going for $29 on Amazon at the moment. And if you have Prime that's free SHIPPING too. This new-tool Tamiya Sherman is right there with the Asuka/Tasca for quality IMHO.

Consider that late/post-war vehicles might be fitted with HVSS suspension...

They weren't junking the HVSS Shermans. Those were given to the reserve components or sent overseas. VVSS Shermans were junked or left in fields for live fire exercises.
Though M4A3 VVSS were still in service as late as 1960. Venerable M7 Priests with M3 suspensions were replaced in NG service by brand new M109s in the mid 1960s.
