So I had a week with the wife gone (all the kids were here though), so I thought I would try to build and complete a model. I had the -35 scale Revell T-72 B with EDZ which is the Zvezda recast in the closet for about 9 years and drug around the world so I thought I would give it a go and make it out of the box.

Day 1-3 build days. Days 4-7 paint and weather.
Not too bad for fit. A bit of putty. The skirt was sort of hard to keep on so I had to make some brackets to keep it on.

I banged up the right front fender with the heat gun and gave it a tissue blanket over the machine gun and the muzzle cap. The colors are set in the first Chechnyan war. I didnt get the OOB figure done in my week time so it will have to wait. Enjoy.

Nice idea and great work. The older kits have flaws, but are great for things like this. I wish more modelers would do this, it really helps open the hobby back up again (at least for me) to when I was a kid and would build and paint a model in a week or so.
