A quick google shows this was more a civilian vehicle in bright red, white or yellow used for brush fire and small airport service. In fact a local fire department has one for brush fires. Some might have been used in military post fire departments like Earle NWS. I'd have to check.
I could see one used for range control because I remember the Chevrolet CUCV which were used at Fort Dix. But as a non-tactical vehicle it wouldn't be camouflaged. Maybe even bright red and chrome. Now that's a change for a HMMV.

Fennek A2 looks great. There is also a conversion for it from Y-Modelle.

Judging from that video that is the exact vehicle that Blackdog used to make that kit up!! I still dont see a water tank though.... I would expect at least a 300 US gallon tank for that truck
