no surprise,for year the iranian been trying to develop battle tank to replace there aging fleet of M-60 and chieftain tank.result been disappointment.quick solution was to obtain production right from Russia's T-90MS

No, although it looks similar, it's a different tank called 'Karrar' - probably based on their T-72S

This tank looks as real as their qaher fighter that when they showed its first flight you could see it was a r.c. scaled toy that could barely fly. They named the tank karrar, the same name as their karrar UCAV from a few years ago. They most get their naming tips from George Foreman. Looking around a lot of sites are calling this thing just a fake sheet metal mod on a T-72 tank.

Yesterday I watched the video from Iranian news.Iran says these new Karrar stands among the worlds most modern tanks.Also they are as deadly as the Russian T-90.

Do they actually have film of it moving? for all we know it could be a model...
