Does anyone think there is enough interest for the manufacturers to make an injection mounded Daimler armoured car. I know Bronco makes the Tetrarch already and they share a common turret. I would love to be able to make one for my dad as he was a driver in a big Daimler at the end of the war. Maybe if we show some of the manufacturers there's enough interest they'll finally make one. Sorry people I just had to vent a little.

Although I tend to favour German stuff, I agree with you Martin and would also like to see this vehicle kitted. It is, after all, an iconic bit of British hardware.
However, although no one has announced one, the continual delivery of vehicles I thought I would never see kitted, viz British A13, Humber Scout Car and Vickers Meduim Tank, would seem to suggest that we may very well see a Daimler in the not too far distant future. Keep hoping.

I've been wanting a styrene one, too, either in 1/48, or 1/35. Great looking vehicle.

If a company produces a plastic model kit in 1/35, I will buy one. Period.

I'd be all for one too. Really like the UK armored cars. Seems to be one of missing ones remaining to be kitted now with the Staghounds, Dingos, AEC, and the two Humber cars all covered by Bronco and MiniArt.

Given the importance of this vehicle and the number that served i am amazed we still do not have a kit of one. Given the number of British Releases over the last ten years I feel it is only a matter of time before we see one in plastic. My money is on Bronco/Riich/Miniart

An injection moulded Ferret in 1/35 would be good also, especially since our local garage has a full size one on display in their showroom!

I totally agree Al. However, I also would have put good money on one already being produced by now too. And we don't have one. Here's hoping someone fills the gaping void of the missing Daimler AC.

You might still be able to find a 1/48 Bandai Daimler for $150++ on eBay.
