I don't know if I'm beating a dead horse here, but I need some "Opinions from the Experts".
Fruil seems to have the top of the line in Aftermarket workable tracks. But they are WAY out of my price range. I haven't been able to get a clear feel for other manufacturers sets. I'm thinking about Pz III/IV tracks. Miniart has a set, but the only review I can find was on here and it seemed mixed. The little pins on the end look like they are a nightmare as opposed to the single pin running the whole width. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations or preference to manufacturers, based on price, ease of assembly, finishing, etc.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks JoeP

Modelkasten and Bronco make some nice tracks in plastic. AFV tracks have, for me, been hit and miss.

Master Club rate very highly with me of late. If you are careful with the glue then Bronco are well worth looking into.

Hi Gang, not wishing to hijack the thread but how many modellers (like me !) walk away from a kit because it has indie-links ?.
Try as I might I cannot master these little blighters, the only kit I have ever been able to do is Tamiya`s Famo which were wonderfully simple and look great when assembled.
Just wondering ?!.

If you are looking for Pz III/IV tracks you should take a look for the new Voyager tracks.. they are nearly identical to Dragons Magic Tracks and not very expensive either.
cheers Chris

I don't necessarily walk away from a kit with indy links, but I do think the medium is wasted on tanks with "live" track (like the Sherman). I also am not too keep on glue-together indy links as well. If I'm going that route I get workables. The Spade Ace tracks really hit the spot for me in terms of cost & detail...not as good as Friuls but at a much better price point!
Only downside is how tedious they are to assemble. Watch TV while doing it...
Damon.

If a kit has Dragon Magic Tracks I use them,I also did Meng's workables for the T-90.I just don't like the one piece tracks unless sag isn't needed, like a Sherman or Abrams.I like the metal ones just hate to buy them for every build
