I can't find an aftermarket barrel for the Tamiya JGSDF Type 90 tank. I have read that the RBM35B106 barrel for the Tamiya M1A1 is the same as the Type 90 barrel. So it could be used on the Type 90. True?
Thank you for your time.

The barrel design looks a little different (fatter behind the bore evac and a different MRS design), but close. From what I have read, the Type 90 uses the Rheinmetall L44 120 mm smoothbore cannon licensed produced by Japan Steel Works Limited. This is the same gun the US M256 gun is based on, but not exactly the same design. Maybe you can find a Rheinmetall L44 from a Leopard II that would be closer?
