I am planning on doing a Panther from the end of the war. One from Panzer Division Clauswitz. I've heard they had both Ausf A and Ausf G tanks. Would the As have been in the mid war camo (rebuilds or training ones?) or have been repainted? As for Gs, What I've gleaned most of theirs were MAN production rigs. Of the Dragon Late G or the Tamiya G with steel wheels closer,OOB, as a MAN production vehicle? (I heard one kit's steel wheels are wrong diameter. Yes? No? MAybe? ) Last, what color combo would be most likely RAL 7028/8017/6003? 8012/7028/8017? Basically any input would be appreciated.

Timothy, I notice someone seems to have done some research on this question already:

No idea where the discussion around it is, possibly Axis History Forum. I just did a search on panzer division clausewtiz and that was one of the first images.

Thanks,

Nevenkin's "Firebrigades", mentions that the unit received 10 Panthers in April 1945.
