I have an old Tamiya M-60A1. I am looking at turning it into an IDF Magach 6B Gal or variant.
I am looking for recommendations on a conversion kit.
Based on photos I have found it looks like I may need new tracks. Does any one make new tracks?

Hello Scott,
I believe that Legends offers a MagAch 6B conversion kit. It may not be Tamiya specific, though.
Respectfully,
Allen

You can build it out of the box into an IDF vehicle.(If you want upgrade-update set suggestions I can post some)
The next best option would be a conversion to 6B Gal with this Legend set: http://www-legend.co.kr/portfolio/lf1111-magach-6b-gal-conversion-set/
You can use T142 aftermarket tracks from AFV or Bronco.

Allen and Nikos,
I have seen the set and it looks promising. I am wanting to do a conversion to challenge my skills.
I was worried on the tracks. I had seen some photos and it looks like they have Merkava tracks?

Magach 6B Gal tanks had either T142 or Merkava tracks. So you can use some aftermarket T142 tracks without having to change the sprockets.
You can also keep the kit supplied wheels, since aluminum wheels were kept in use with the T142 track.

Nikos,
Thanks. I managed to snag a Fruil set at a great price off of e-bay.
Great reference photos!
