I recently decided to start Takom's T29. This being my first Takom Kit I was looking forward to it, especially after all the reviews on Takom. The detail is outstanding. Not one bit of flash, and why would there be, it's a new mold! There are some mold lines that need to be cleaned up, mainly on the suspension arms. Nothing a couple quick swipes of a blade or sand paper can't fix. So far I've completed most of the lower hull and preped the road wheels. Here's a couple quick snaps of my progress.

Hope you all enjoy!

Perhaps the site administrators can change the thread title to something sensible.

Made more progress on the T29! I am thoroughly enjoying this kit.

I have the lower hull finished and am working on attaching the fenders to the hull. Takom includes clear plastic parts for the periscopes with the option of posing them up or down. I like to pose my in the up position (how else would the crew know where they're going?) and I'm glad I was given the option. Couple snaps here of my progress. Last couple pics show a size comparison between the T29 and Trumpeter's E75.

Got the fenders just about finished up. There are some ejector pin marks on the front a rear pieces that still need some sanding before I can mount them.

I didn't notice this when I was assembling the storage boxes but there is a small gap that runs the length of the boxes. Not quite sure the best way to go about filling, maybe some miliput?

Also started work on the turret. Got a couple of pieces on then decided to check the fit of the two turret halves. Fit is decent but there is a sharp edge that runs the length of the seams. Nothing some sanding and filling can't fix.

Jon, check the fit of the rear turret plate before adding the smaller detail pieces. The 2 builds I've seen thus far have both had issues in this area.
