This will be my first Dragon StuG kit but looking at the instructions on hobbysearch I have a couple rookie questions:(http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10447844)

All the profiles show the front return roller at the later moved position doesn't it, I thought Ausf.A's had them evenly spaced? The schemes look to be pretty much identical to the older Cyber-Model boxing - which did have them evenly spaced. I can't tell in Step 3 if the forward roller is being placed correctly for Ausf.A. Is that lump that needs to be removed where the later position of the roller would be, so the instruction putting it in the void area is correct placement?

In step 8, the taillight (B18) is the later version isn't it? It too doesn't match the illustrations that have the circular light. I assume one of the sprues has the earlier light I hope? (I see the boxtop CAD images shows circular light)

Thanks,
Steve

I have the old Dragon/CyberHobby A, in my stash. I didn't purchase the new release, as I suspected it would just be a repop. I'll check, but to the best of my knowledge; you are supposed to remove the return roller and relocate it so that it is not evenly spaced.

Thanks but the new kit has a new hull, it's not the same setup as the older CH kit. The new instructions are up the hobby search site I mentioned to see what I mean.

I just built the Wittman StuG. A. The front roller wasn't attached. Only an outline of where to put it (as well as the outline for the escape hatch) for a different version. The directions give you a distance from the bow of the machine to place the new return roller once you have removed the locator ridges for the later-version parts.

It has the round tail lights.

hopefully yours is the way you want it.

Thanks but I must be completely missing it, where are the dimensions stated?
