Probably not REALLY the right group for this, but .... Does anybody make 1/35 scale tow hooks? I see all sorts of clevis hook and tow cables with eyes, but can't seem to find a plain old hook with a hole at one end to run a rope, strap, cable, chain through. All the other stuff is fine for large AFVs with huge welded on tow hooks and cables. What I need are for light winches and snatch straps for soft skins and light armor (LAVs, Up armored Humvees etc) Tried fabricating one for my spec op Land Rover Defender. Frankly, it looks like crap.

If we are talking 1/35th scale then the Tamiya Accessory Kit #35231 has two beautifully done hooks in it. Just exactly what you are looking for!

This set is often carried by local hobby shops because of it's low cost and that it perfectly accompanies the Tamiya 2 1/2 ton cargo truck kit that is such a good seller. Right now Amazon has it listed for under ten dollars.
