I am wondering if there will bee be kits without interior for those who don't need it and want to save some $$$?
The cost saving isn't really there IMO. The difference with the T-54-1 with and without the interior is only about $5 USD, which less then 10% of the total cost of the kits.
That might be so in USA but here in UK there is £14 (~$18) of a difference. I also would like a non interior version rather than have wasted parts.

Again, a beautiful kit and a beautiful build!
Only a little observation: IMO the tracks look a last one link too long, especially on the right side.

Clearly Miniart has made a winner!
Hope they bring versions and versions, with all the fine tooling they have already done, just need some add-ons/decals for other variants.

But the only game in town for a T-55AM2B.
Maybe when Mini Art releases a T-55, I will use the Takom kit as parts donator for the conversion.

Who knows what MiniArt plan once they reach T-55 family. Maybe they will have their own AMs one day. In any case, after finishing Takom T-55A and seeing those pictures above, I know I will not build another Takom T-55.

Don't forget they've already announced a Tiran 4, although an SLA-specific configuration (unless there's an M68 barrel in the box too).
I too hope they turn their attention to T55s. With all the read-across tooling they would be daft not to. I would like a better Tiran 5 than my unbuilt Tamiya offering with tons of AM improvements.

It's not SLA specific configuration, IDF did also use 100mm gun Tirans.

Takom kits look pathetic compared to this...
Seriously? How does the Takom kit in any way look "pathetic"? It's gorgeous.
Talk about your first world problems!

Jennings, if you don't want to talk about kits, leave this place.
Maybe for you Takom one is gorgeous. As I'm finishing one right now I admit that it looks reasonably good on its own. But to me
COMPARED TO THE ABOVE IMAGES it looks pathetic. The level of details and accuracy of them is not in the same league.

"Gorgeous"? Really?
Perhaps I have exaggeratedly high standards to qualify something as gorgeous, but IMHO Takom's kit is far from it.
BTT, Dmytro's model is going better and better.
It's not too much, but it's all we got...

I am very pleased to see MiniArts T-54B, and will get a couple, and any other version they make, to replace the Takom kits I have (that I don't borrow parts from).
At the same time I can see the advantage of the Takom kits. Simpler, and less costly, will appeal to many modelers.
I found a nifty feature on the forums called HIDE USER.
I was going to try it on myself and go stealth, but it only works on other users.

The model looks great. It is finally out. I just put in an order at Scale Hobbyist
