Read somewhere that you can mix up some rusty metallic looking track color mix with tamiya acrylics I believe the colors were Hull red , Metallic gray and flat back ratios unk anyone know where I may look for this mix tried searching google but no joy TIA for any suggestions

Try using Tamiya XF84 Dark Iron.

I've used this mix before, using Tamiya Flat Black, Red Brown, and Metallic Grey, mixed in equal parts. Looks decent, handles weathering well enough, and looks great under dirt & mud..
