This is a very good point with regard to 3 foot deep snow. The snow depicted in KBM's dio is barely above the sole of the soldiers' boots. That's maybe 2" of snow? This interpretation is corraborated by the depth of the snow at the edges of the tread marks. With that shallow snow, the snow would definitely be muddied by the compression of the men walking through it.

Again, my suggestions are not just nit-picks, they're hyper-nit-picks. I think KBM has done an awesome job on this dio! It's absolutely fantastic!

D'OH!!

Good point! And I was thinking of making an "If it's cold enough..." comment, but of course then there would be snow left in the tank tracks...

Your detail points were not hyper picky at all, I think we often forget to apply the weather to the kit to make it part of the environment. Given the snow on the tree limbs, it would make sense to have some on the tank...
