lol, that a real elaborate camouflage man! just a few more twigs and some mushrooms and the enemy would step over it without notice of the tank

He has invested some time and imagination in that..though I am unsure if an apparently levitating tree log would fool many people for long. Kudos for sheer effort though!

Harry, since when does a hill have grenade launchers?

Using the sod cuts down on the thermal signature so the tank wouldn't be easily visible at range with a thermal sight. That's also what the wood on the barrel could be for too. It's not metal so doesn't look any different than the background to a casual scan.

If you think about this as scanning with through a gunner's thermal sight it's a lot more effective than just a hill with a floating log.

Could be wrong, but looks like a T-80. It's russian for sure, but I would assume it's a t80.
