Hello all this is the first time I'm posting something I hope I will do it correctly. I've been modeling for a while and I've always done armor but when it comes to german ww2 armor I could never get that faded look on the model .I have succeded a couple of times but I was never happy with it. If someone could give me another technique It would be greatly appriciated.
thank you
steve

You could use 2 methods for this (well, there maybe others.).
1) Airbrush a really light overspray of dust-colored paint (like Tamiya Buff)
2) Grind up some dust-colored pastels & brush them on the surface of the tank.

For a faded paint effect, I spray the base coat, and then lighten it a little and spray the high points and centers of panels
