Another new company entering the fray is Gecko Models with four 1/35th scale announcements. Gecko Models are coming in with a bang by offering two armoured vehicles and two figure sets that I am particularly interested in.

Same box cover artist as Mini Art. Any association between the companies? Figure poses look good but would like to see the product. Nice if Gecko also included optional Mk lll helmets.

Happy times indeed! (Well, maybe not for that poor marching Vickers gunner... )

Can't wait to see the A10 in all its plastic glory.

Nice offerings, but I want to see what the level of molding quality is before getting too excited. May need some Hornet heads and hands.

The box art looks more like Bronco, so I have to wonder if there's associated in some way [would make sense since they already have a Valentine lower hull tooled]

A. Kapawyk does cover art for MiniArt, Bronco, and now, Gecko.

The C.S. tank and the figures are very interesting for me; though the Beutepanzer less so. I also would've preferred a mix of some guys with jerkins and some without. I agree with bill though, need to see the real thing before I consider buying.

So the hint about the A10 back in september was right. Very happy to see this one in plastic at last!

I really like the two British MG offerings, very useful. Particularly the team on patrol. Going to have to see what the kits are like in person.

Why is the prone figure using a range finder? For the .30 cal?? Never seen an MG crew use an optical rangefinder.

The Brits were fond of using the Vickers for indirect fire in both World Wars, working up a complicated but well-coordinated drill. The rangefinder was a pretty essential component of that operation.

"Raining" MG fire on trenches was a favorite English tactic from both world wars. They were very good at it. Says Grandpa Schmidt, not much else, but that yes
