Hello All,

Does someone have pictures of the Chilean AMX-30B2? Although I like the French version of the tank in three-tone camo. I do not like the desert version of it. As I wanted to do something else, I have been looking for photo's of the chilean version but I didn't find them.

Can someone help me out?

I like this one, but I doubt if this is a B2 version.

Thank you in advance!

Hilbert

You can check out this thread for some pics, but as far as I can tell, the pictured AMX-30's are "B's", not "B2's"...

and I guess that's the version they had bought...

The side view drawing shows a "B" (it's fitted with the optical full-field coincidence range finder).

What about a Cypriot National Guard B2 ?

Hello Hilbert,

You might find the Venezuelan AMX-30 interesting as well. I don't know how to post links, however, typing in relative words on YouTube provides some nice video.

You're right Allen but this a more difficult conversion as the engine compartment is extended.

Hello Olivier,

You are certainly correct about that. This is on my want to try list. I think that the Venezuelan army must have had them in service as AMX-30's for a while before their heavy modification program, but, I don't know this for sure.

I have also been looking at what the Spanish army was considering for their AMX-30E program.

It is always good to hear from you, my friend.

Allen
