Posted this to Kitmaker a couple of days ago but only got a limited response. Perhaps better luck here. How many of you treadheads are going to AMPS Nationals?
I will be arriving Thursday, sometime between 1200-1500hrs and staying through the weekend. About 15 of us from the local chapter making the trip from central PA.

The bar at the hotel is usually festooned with various AMPS attendees in various states of rivet counting ( or was it shot counting) and eating drinking and being merry (The elevators are a right and a right.... dont forget LOL

Chief Judge Mike Petty is asking for more volunteers to judge Thursday night thru Saturday. I'm signed up for three shifts and may sign up for one more, since they're short-handed. If each of you signs up for at least one shift, that would help Mike and your fellow Modelers a great deal.

I've not yet signed up but will when I get there once our group figures out what we are all doing, when, etc. I usually do at least 2 shifts. For those of you who have never judged an AMPS show you should. You can learn a great deal and believe it or not I actually enjoy judging at AMPS nationals.
