I posted some pics of my T-55 in my gallery. Technically it's not really my first model (I've built about 4-6 before this one), but this is the first one I've gone "all the way" with - airbrushed, decalled, weathered. It still needs a drybrushing and a dullcote though, not to mention the "Dushka" on top and rust on those tracks.... but what do you guys think so far?

Nice build there so far Blank. Maybe it could need a little weathering.

Beautiful! Are those rubber tracks or indy tracks? They look weighed. Good work!

Thanks for the replies guys!

Shonen, those are the rubber tracks that came with the kit. Totally OOTB. I used superglue to stick them together and onto the roadwheels... amazing, that stuff is!

Cool I might try your technique. For a while I thought it was indy tracks. Amazing results with that superglue of yours

Blank: Very nice and clean build. A little weathering will probably make it look more realistic and I noticed that it is a bit shiny - probably the lighting. Keep up the good work....

Looking really good Blank. When taking pictures, its a good idea to use a back drop, so your vehicle stands out better. It looks like all the books at the back are better focused than the T55. Something simple like towel would do!
A little weathering would bring this more to life and as you have an airbrush ...... a good flat cote. The track positioning looks great ..... its nice that this can be done. Usually rubber tracks are so tight, not even super glue holds them down.
Great start and hope to see more!
Is there anybody in the Phillipines that doesnt model?

Nice job, very good start. I'll agree with the weathering comments, the more you do the more you'll learn. One other thing that I would add is that you may want to try some "Dull Coat" to reduce the shine on the paint. Other than that, great job! I like the way your tracks turned out. I've used the superglue technique before and it does work very well. Keep it up, I'm looking forward to seeing more!
