Here is a little 1/35 scale scene I put together one of the last evenings. I call it "For the Motherland" and it shows two fallen Red Army soldiers still missing somewhere in the wilderness that took over a once noisy and violent battle arena. Their Maxim machinegun still stands where it fired its last round defending the Russian soil.
The base used is a piece of grenade shrapnel.

Thanks a lot guys:) I am active in a soldier recovery team/ War Grave Commission Volunteer on the "Eastern Front", and both the shrapnel and badge was found in frontline positions in Kurland.

Just visited your page. Nice ! A few years ago on my (our) trip from Holland to the Nordkapp we visited the Lofoten War Museum on the way back. The owner has a lot of very rare items !!
