I am going to start Tamiya's 1/35 Panther Ausf G steel wheeled Panther as tank # 221 from the 1st Panzer Division shown as
abandoned after the Ardennes Offensive. The instructions show side skirts but the picture I have seen shows none, was this picture after it was perhaps scavenged? Also was the interior ivory or primer red. I have read where there was an issue and the tanks interiors went back to using ivory late in 1944 after being ordered to discontinue the interior color and just use red primer. Thanks---John

I am not entirely familiar with that specific track, but I can tell you that often skirts were removed by crews because they were a general pain in the arse.

Yes that one. Thanks for any information. I am guessing the camouflage was factory 3 color scheme, dunkelgelb, rotbraun and
olivgrun.---John

It was a three color scheme but that picture was taken well after the battle after someone had removed the muzzle beak and the tank was pushed off the road. There are pics showing it immediately after the GIs got into town and it was way more complete.

Interior would probably be both colours - red up to the level of the sponson floors and Elfdnbein above that.
