CAD looks nice. Can you provide actual photos of model? Unbuilt and built-up? Not pointing fingers, but sometimes the product isn't as good as the CAD representation.

I should have suggested primered, too. (Asking a lot here! ) The semi-transparent material Shapeways uses for printing doesn't show surface detail very well. Also a primered model will show up any excessive printing lines.
