The title is fairly self-explanatory. I'm working on a diorama involving Waffen SS soldiers in the Ardennes and another one with Waffen SS in the Falaise Gap. The camouflage on their uniforms has proved to be highly frustrating to paint.

I heard somewhere that there are companies that make decals specifically for Waffen SS uniforms to mimic the camo pattern.

Has anyone used these before? How were they? And, if anyone knows where is a good place to get them, that would be great too.

Thanks for your help.

Practice with it, comes out nice after its washed and highlighted.

Hi Quentin, I have not used the camo stuff, but I have used the Archer decals and the Verlinden ones. I usually cut them out and use white glue to attach them. Best of luck...Dale

There are a few Japanese brands that make these. One is Shinsengumi

Out of stock, but it will give you an indea what to look for.
Be aware that some of these decals can be quite stiff, so aplying them might be a challenge.
